The work consisted of the construction of a 3/4 storey school of nursing, incorporating within the building a Health Living Centre on the ground and first floors. The building is fully fitted out including services installations and the contract also included all associated external works. The gross floor area of the building is 7,637m2. The frame of the building is reinforced concrete column and flat slab with some areas of structural steel. The façade is a mixture of stone cladding, terracotta cladding and render with blockwork inner leaf.
